  3. Yes, many times both have happened. Not just with stories either. Music too. I find going to sleep and forgetting something one of the most frustrating things ever. Waking with ideas is the total opposite (unless I can’t get immediate access to my laptop to type up the idea).

    1. Absolutely! These are two opposites I seldom find myself witnessing. 😊

      1. I would say the thinking of something musical is more frustrating because it NEVER returns, whereas story ideas tend to pop back in there before long

        1. But sometimes there are ideas that won’t ever return and are meant just for the moment. Even if they do, eighty percent remains lost. Music however I guess must be more frustrating.
